After trying some macro work on my wife's Fuji camera in 2005 I decided to buy my first Canon DSLR. I started off shooting motorsport which was already a hobby as I enjoyed going to Knockhill race course for all the racing meets there.
Realizing after a year that motorsport wasn't giving me what I wanted from photography I turned to landscape photography. Now this rekindled the spirit in me that got me into photography in the first place, and now I haven't looked back as I get some much enjoyment from getting out there and capturing something so beautiful such as the landscape that lies around us.

This website shows some of the work that I have taken from the start of 2006, from which I'm hopefully showing the passion within me by capturing the light and mood in a way that brings the landscape to life and letting the viewer drift into the scene.

Based in a small village in the Central Belt of Scotland, I have easy access to the North and South of the country where I enjoy spending my spare time when not in the company of my family.
